The Homestead Discount Program offers a lower fixed charge and consumption rate.

Eligibility

• Must be 65 years or older, or totally and permanently disabled;
• Must own and live at the property; and
• Income level below $39,300/annually (as of 2023)

Process:

• Mail in application with no supporting documentation.
• Application is the same for water and sewer (one application).
• Processing can take up to 30 days.
• Discount will appear on next water bill.
• Enrollment is valid for 3 years for new and current enrollees, after which a renewal is required (reminders will be sent)
