Home Energy Efficiency ServicesCHN Housing Partners offers programs to assist renters and homeowners with lowering energy use.
The Energy Services Application will be reviewed and processed to determine program eligibility.
*It can take up to 12 weeks to process your application*
Programs may include:
- Attic, Wall, Basement Insulation
- Blower-door guided air leakage reduction
- Health and safety testing and inspections
- LED bulb installation
- Energy Star refrigeration replacement
- Hot water tank repair or replacement
- Other major plumbing repairs (owner-occupied homes only)
A certified inspector will contact you to schedule an appointment for a full house energy inspection.
Some programs will require more than one inspection/inspector.

Includes FREE installation of several energy-efficient products:
- High-efficiency showerheads
- Kitchen and bathroom faucet aerators
- Carbon monoxide detector
- Water heater pipe wrap
Qualifications/Eligibility:
- Be a residential Dominion Energy Ohio customer
- Have natural gas as the residence’s primary heating source.
- Not be on the Percentage of Income Payment Plan Plus (PIPP Plus), and/or not be eligible for the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP).
- Not have completed a home energy assessment through Dominion Energy Ohio’s Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program, or received weatherization assistance through Dominion Energy Ohio’s Housewarming Program in the last 5 years.
- Use a CLEAResult qualified auditor for the assessment
Before leaving your home, the auditor will provide you with a list of participating contractors and guide you through the Contractor-Installed, and Do-It-Yourself measures and rebates available for each project. Up to $1250 in Rebates available!
