Eligibility:
- Age 60 or older
- Income at or below $25, 183 annually
- Must own home where modification/repair will be completed

- Carpentry (steps, handrails, doors, etc)
- Electrical Systems
- Heating Systems
- Hot Water Tank
- Kitchen and Bathroom Accessibility Modifications
- Plumbing Issues
- Severely Deteriorated

SAFE AT HOME PROGRAM (cuyahoga County residents)
The Rebuilding Together Northeast Ohio –Safe at Home Program can assist with:
- Installing smoke & CO detectors and fire extinguishers
- Installing interior & exterior handrails
- Minor bathroom modifications, such as: grab bars, elevated toilet seats, handheld showers, etc.
- Installing storm doors, doorknobs, deadbolts, and doorbells
- Roof Repair or Replacement
- Furnace, hot water tank repair or replacement
- Repairs that improve safety of homeowner
Eligibility requirements, applicants must:
- Be over the age of 62 or have a disability
- Live in Cuyahoga County
- Own their home
- Be current on their property taxes or be on a delinquent payment plan
- Have homeowner’s insurance
- Below 200% poverty guidelines (1 person: $27,550; 2 people: $31, 450)

CARE Program
(Cleveland Heights, Highland Heights, Lyndhurst, Maple Heights, Mayfield Village, Richmond Heights, Solon, South EuclidCARE is a membership program that supports homeowners, 60 and older with completing projects around their homes and property.
For those who are income eligible there is no cost. Currently available in Cleveland Heights, Highland Heights, Lyndhurst, Maple Heights, Mayfield Heights, Mayfield Village, Richmond Heights, Solon and South Euclid.
Services included are:
- Seasonal Care
- Minor Painting
- Minor Repairs
- Organization Projects

Department of Senior and Adult Services Programs (DSAS)
The Department of Senior and Adults Services (DSAS) have programs for seniors over 60 or disabled that are either free or on a sliding-scale fee for service plan.
Some of the services provided:
- Medical Transportation
- Emergency Response System
- Homemaker services (bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping/errands)
- Chore Services
- Personal Care
- Home-Delivered Meals
- Grab bar installation
