Exterior Paint & Violation Repair Prorgam
Violation Repair GrantCleveland Heights homeowners age 62 and older or permanently disabled may be eligible for loans and grants that can really help keep their home looking and running well. This program can provide improvements for items such as new roofs, windows (lead remediation), heating/cooling systems, plumbing, electrical, carpentry repairs, new kitchens, and baths.
The maximum exterior paint grant offers up tp $3500 to prepare/paint the house and garage; if paint costs exceed $3500, the homeowner must pay the difference.
The violation repair program provides assistance or correction of exterior violations; homeowners are eligible for a maximum benefit of $1000 with a maximum lifetime benefit of $3000.The homeowner must be current on property taxes and have a total household income that does not exceed the federal income guidelines.

HRRC Senior Grants
For Cleveland Heights residents, The Home Repair Resource Center can help defray the cost of some home repairs. The Senior Grants provides $1500 towards the cost of replacing a roof or furnace for homeowners age 62 or older. This grant reduces the amount that must be paid for the repair.
