Water Affordability Program

You can receive a 40% discount on your Cleveland Water bill if you;

• Are below 200% Federal Income Guidelines (see Benefits “Income Guidelines” for user-friendly chart)
• Primary homeowner
• Occupy the home for which you are applying.

Sewer Affordability Program:

• Are below 250% Federal Income Guidelines (see Benefits “Income Guidelines” for user-friendly chart)
• Primary homeowner or renter
• Occupy the home for which you are applying.

Cleveland Heights residents can also receive a discount on the additional Cleveland Heights Sewer Bill.

Low Income Home Weatherization Assistance Program (LIHWAP)

• Available year-round
• Open to homeowners and renters
• Must have disconnect (water or sewer or both)
• Eligible households may receive a payment of up to $750 each, water and sewer

Income Eligibility: Below 175% Federal Government Income Poverty Level

Crisis Appointment is required and must be scheduled in advance of application.
